Learning outcome:

To be able to understand, talk and write about local area as well as wider world issues - recycling and protecting the environment.

  1. Writing and speaking (Role Play): Students will write a GCSE style 16 mark writing question and respond to a role play card in speaking.

  1. Listening and speaking assessment (photo card) - students listen to a range of texts and answer questions in English. Students will be given a photo card and time to prepare for the linked questions for the speaking assessment.

MEP Term 6: Festivals and customs & revision

Learning outcome:

To revisit what they have learned in this past year and prepare for HSK3 test, which is also MEP Year 10 hurdle test.

  1. MEP Year 10 hurdle test = HSK 3 (an internationally recognised qualification for spoken Mandarin)
