Another Year of Outstanding A Level Results at Becket Keys

Students at Becket Keys Church of England School are celebrating another year of excellent A Level results, with the Class of 2025 achieving strong academic outcomes and securing exciting destinations including places at top universities across the country, degree apprenticeships and exciting jobs and gap year experiences.
Outstanding Achievements
Several students achieved exceptional results, with ten students securing three or more A*/A grades, including:
- Samuel Carey and Ben Shelton– both with four A*/A grades
- Harry Adams, Zack Cristescu, Callum Etchells, Jack Falco, Zara Shepherd, Lisa Singh, Jemima Smithers, and Jacob Walton – each with three A*/A grades
University Destinations
Many students are now heading to prestigious universities and courses. We are delighted that 48 students secured places at 17 different Russell Group Universities including Cambridge, Durham, Warwick, Bath, Edinburgh and King’s College London, to study courses ranging from Law, Medicine, and Engineering to English, Politics, and Theology.

Ben Shelton: 3 A* (Chemistry, Mathematics, Further Mathematics) A (Physics) is going to study Mathematics at Loughborough. He wants to work in Finance and perhaps become an actuary. Ben said, “Becket Keys has been a springboard in developing me as a person and my knowledge. The teachers have shown me that through commitment and a love for what you do, the future is always bright.”
Sam Carey: 3 A* (Physics,
Mathematics, Further Mathematics) A (Music) is going to take a gap year before deciding what to do next.
Harry Adams: 3 A* (Chemistry,
Mathematics, Further Mathematics) is going to Cambridge to study Chemical Engineering.
Jacob Walton: 2 A* (Mathematics, Further Mathematics), A (Chemistry) is going to study Natural Sciences at Loughborough.
Jemima Smithers: A* (Religion & Philosophy) 2 A (Geography, Psychology) is going to Southampton University to study Environmental Science. She said, “Thank you to all my teachers for pushing me!”
Isabel Slaney: 2 A* (Art, Music) B (English Literature) is going to enjoy a gap year in which she intends to travel before going to university.
Lisa Singh: A* (Mathematics) 2A (Further Mathematics, Computer Science) is going to study Data Science at City, University of London. She said, “Thank you so much for an unforgettable time at Becket Keys. I am forever grateful for the incredible support from all the teachers.”
Jack Falco: A* (Mathematics) 2A (Biology, Economics) and is looking forward to starting a degree apprenticeship with JP Morgan and said, “A big thank you to everyone at the Sixth Form for all their support.”
Callum Etchells: A* (Psychology) 2A (History, Biology) is looking forward studying Law at Queen’s Belfast.
Erin Delea: 2 A* (Chemistry, PE) B (Geography) is going to study Sport and Exercise at Kings College. She is also part of the Saracens Senior Squad on the Player Pathway.
Zack Cristescu: A* (Computer Science), 2 A (Mathematics, Physics) is off to Edinburgh to study Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
Imogen Grocock: A* (Psychology), A (PE) B (Biology) is going to study Musical Theatre at University of Staffordshire.

Finlay Course is going to York to study Biology and said: “Thank you to the school and everyone there.”
Megan Gleed is taking a gap year before starting her course in Zoology at Nottingham. Megan said, “Becket Keys let me meet so many great people and develop and learn.”
Precious-Joella Agyemang has accepted a place on a Politics and International Relations course at Birmingham University.
Niamh Varma is going to study Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University and she said, “Becket Keys has been the best journey and I will always be grateful for where it has led me.”
Erin Lowe is going to study Law at Canterbury Christ Church University.
